Torte Italiane
Our Torte Italiane are light, flavorful and refreshing Italian cakes. Thin layers of vanilla or chocolate sponge cake are soaked in our homemade syrups and filled with a delicious variety of flavors from pastry creams to Sicilian ricotta seasonal fresh fruits to home made jams...and always topped off with exuberant fresh whipped cream.
ARANCE IN SICILIA
Chocolate sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, bitter Italian orange marmalade, Sicilian ricotta, chocolate chips, chocolate ganache glaze.
TORTA CHANTILLY
Vanilla sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, Chantilly cream, chocolate chips covered in whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings on the sides.
TORTA ALLA FRUTTA FRESCA
Vanilla sponge cake soaked in vanilla syrup, orange pastry cream, fresh seasonal fruit décor (no whipped cream).
MILLEFOGLIE
Four layers caramelized puff pastry, Chantilly cream or pastry cream of your choice, chocolate chips.
ROTOLONE
Roll of pate a choux with rum syrup filled with vanilla and chocolate pastry cream, whipped cream and chocolate chips.
PALERMO
Chocolate sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, a layer of hazelnut pastry cream, a layer of chocolate pastry cream, chocolate chips, chocolate glaze and hazelnuts on the sides.
SICILIANA
Chocolate sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, Sicilian ricotta with chocolate chips, whipped cream, and garnished with toasted pistachios.
AGRUMI DI SICILIA
Vanilla sponge cake soaked in limoncello syrup, lemon marmalade, one layer of lemon pastry cream, one layer of orange pastry cream, candied oranges and a lemon flavored whipped cream.
FORESTA NERA
Chocolate sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, chocolate pastry cream with chopped Italian amarena cherries, chocolate whipped cream, with dark chocolate décor.
SAINT’ HONORE’
One layer caramelized puff pastry, two layers vanilla sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, Chantilly cream with chocolate chips, whipped cream, vanilla pastry cream filled cream puffs.
PROFITEROLES
Whipped cream filled cream puffs covered in a creamy dark chocolate glaze (different flavors available).
MANDORLE CROCCANTI
Vanilla sponge cake soaked in amaretto syrup, almond pastry cream with Sicilian torrone pieces, whipped cream, topped with caramelized almonds.
TIRAMISU’
Three layers of vanilla sponge cake soaked in espresso syrup, tiramisu’ cream with mascarpone and Marsala liquor, decorated with chocolate crumbs and cocoa powder.
CASSATA SICILIANA
Vanilla sponge cake soaked in rum syrup, Sicilian ricotta with chocolate chips and candied oranges, marzipan and white sugar icing, with toasted pistachios on the sides.
FRUTTI ROSSI
Vanilla sponge cake soaked in vanilla syrup, raspberry jam ribbon, vanilla pastry cream with fresh strawberry pieces, whipped cream and white chocolate shavings on the sides.
TORTA DI COMPLEANNO
