Bakery Clerk

At L'Arte your responsibilities include assisting customers with their purchases, boxing and bagging baked goods, answering the phone, maintaining your work space and handling the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers

• Knowledgeable about products and ingredients

• Answers product questions, take and fill bakery orders for customers

• Monitor display cases and maintain an attractive display inside and on top of the cases

• Work with BOH to ensure that displays are filled with products and not empty

• Ensure that displayed baked goods are in good condition, fresh and alert supervisor of any items that should be removed

• Verify that customers who have communicated food allergies are not sold products that could be dangerous to their health

• Assist with labeling and packing products when requested

• Keep work areas sanitary and organized and display cases polished inside and out.
